Political & Economic Ideologies: Relation to China's Global Ambitions

There are various political and economic ideologies related to China's Belt and Road Initiative—for instance, globalism; an economic ideology that of which the PRC is strategically advocating.
Politically as well as economically, one could reference German philosopher, Karl Marx & his theory of historical materialism. It is through historical materialism, a methodology proposed by Marx, that makes the political and economic situation clearer.
It was not the idea nor the ideology that China held which allowed for its economy to morph into a superpower. Rather, it was the material (developmental) structure fashioned by policies which caused changes to the conditions of the state and therefore reality. (Allison, 2018)
